The short version
GreenTrack does not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal data. Ever. We use the data you give us solely to operate the app for you — counting days, storing trips, backing up your record across your devices, and answering your questions.
1. What we collect
- Account info: your email and (if provided) your name and profile photo from Apple or Google.
- App data: the trips, dates, notes, attachments, language, and track (3-year or 5-year) you enter into the app.
- Technical info: minimal logs needed to keep the service running (e.g. error reports). No advertising identifiers.
2. How we use it
Strictly to run the app for you: authenticating your account, syncing your record across your devices, generating your USCIS-ready PDF, and answering questions in the in-app assistant. We do not use your data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose beyond delivering the app.
3. We never sell or share
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with advertisers, brokers, or marketing partners. The only third parties involved are the infrastructure providers who host the encrypted backups (cloud storage and authentication) and they are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.
4. Storage and security
Your record is stored on your device and, if you sign in, in an encrypted cloud backup tied to your account. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security — only you can read or modify your record.
5. Your rights
You can export your data as JSON at any time from inside the app, and you can delete your account and all associated data on request. Deletion is permanent.
6. Contact
Questions or requests about your data: reach out from inside the app. We reply to every message.
